"Nature of Norway" refers not only to the literal inspiration of Norway’s nature for the collection, but also to the brand’s spirit: combining an earth-near nature with great ambition, Scandinavian quality, toughness at par with femininity, and a wild, natural beauty that is beautifully Norwegian.

V. CARENDI designs marry a Nordic aesthetic with fine artisan metalwork. Designed and hand sculpted in Norway by artist V. Stephanie Carendi, each piece is then meticulously cast and hand constructed by a team of master silversmiths in New York and Mexico. Each piece is created in small editions and is stamped with our V. CARENDI trademark and signature.

V. CARENDI looks to the past to create meaningful designs for the future. Employing traditional methods not only results in a greener production process, but also in better end quality and more elaborate, original design possibilities. Moreover, it offers an opportunity to preserve the age-old craft of silver artisans.

History

V. CARENDI is the creation of Oslo-based artist  V. Stephanie Carendi. Formerly a New Yorker, Stephanie credits her designs to a combination of an aesthetic education, a branding instinct, and a thorough understanding of fine silver jewelry production. It was, however, Stephanie’s move to Norway that sparked the creation of V. Carendi Fine Sterling Silver. Norway’s wild beauty fascinates Stephanie, and it has inspired every piece in the launch collection.
